Deanna, I love chatting with you and getting to know your readers. A brief introduction to your audience first so we get acquainted. In my early life, I was the good daughter, the good wife, the good mom of many children as my pilot husband flew for the Strategic Air Command during the Korean Conflict. Eventually, we became civilians and one day when my youngest only daughter turned sixteen, an actress friend suggested I go to New York City and spread my wings as an actor. I had been in many Community theater plays but never entertained a career before. My husband drew a small map on how to get to the city and I went. Soon I became a small fish in the big talented pond. Daytime Drama was my first venue, shows like One Life to Live for thirteen years, All My Children in and out of this one, Another World, two steady years. Things moved fast in the big city. We lived about thirty miles north, no biggie to drive in back then. Soon offers for movies came in and I was in Working Girl sharing a hot dog with Harrison Ford during a break, meeting the charming Anthony, call me Tony, Hopkins, who also treated me to dine with the stars that day-one month on that movie, When Harry met Sally for a week where I met Carrie Fisher and we all sang during a break. Sweet time for me.
Then I was in a play Off-Broadway, my voice felt way off. I went to a specialist. I quote the words of doom. “My dear, you have Spasmodic Dysphonia. I fear you have lost your voice.”
A friend called with the suggestion: “Write a book.” I said, “I don’t know how.” “But you’ve been memorizing scripts for years and you’ve worked with Mike Nichols and Billy Crystal and so didn’t you learn from them?”
So that night I had an idea and wrote and wrote and never stopped until The End. Then I sent out query letters with rejections coming back but actors are accustomed to that. No biggie and then!! Vanilla Heart Publishing called me. Yes, they were interested and they wanted more and soon I had a contract. Me with no voice had a contract for a book. I cried! Oh yes, I cried.
So you see, it can happen to you. Just keep writing, have faith in your work and yourself. And remember what I did. Allow me to introduce The Catch:

Blurb:
The woman in his bed sat up and shoved him hard. “Time’s up, handsome.”
Tom Donnelly rolled over and blinked awake.
“My name’s Vicki in case you’ve forgotten.”
He attempted his winning grin; it didn’t work, Vicki.  No Vicki came to his muddled mind.  The fog lifted to recall speaking to an escort service for a date.
Naked, Vicki stalked to the bathroom with an armload of clothes picked up on the way. Five minutes later, money in her tight fist, Vicki came running out the bathroom to scream in his face. “The deal was a thousand dollars. I count five hundred. Where’s the rest?” Hands on voluptuous hips, she glared at him.
Head pounding from the world’s worst handover, Tom staggered out of bed and lurched to his dresser. Money hidden somewhere under. . .Clothes flew as he searched and came up with a roll of cash. Face flushed, he handed her four hundred fifty dollars. “Sorry. I’ll make it up next time.”
“Loser. Word gets around, no one’s gonna go with you. Not from the best service in town.” Vicki slammed the front door.
Tom shook his head. Happy New Year to me. Sunk so low I had to hire a date for the big party. Me, the catch, every girl’s hope reduced to this.

Book 3

Tom Donnelly, once known as The Catch – every woman’s dream guy, has fallen down every rung of the ladder he once worked so hard to climb. On New Year’s Day, he realizes just how far he’s fallen, and makes a list of resolutions to change his life. He vows to regain the trust lost from his family, his law firm, and his friends – and maybe even find the right woman this time.

Love Reincarnation of Soul Mates?

That's what this story is all about and it happens all around us every day! Soul mates are meant for each and every one of us and they're out there just waiting for fate to illuminate that spark of electricity that will connect two people who belong together forever. Then again, I'm a romantic and believe in happy endings, cupid and his arrows.

Do Souls Reconnect From Past Lives?

Do Souls Reconnect?

I'm a firm believer in this aspect when others might not believe this. Do you ever have DeJaVu that makes you stop and think...'I've done this or been here before, but when?' I get that, too. The people in our lives have also been around us in our past lives. Consider how close you and your best friend are. The possibility that you've been best friends or even lovers in a past life is not so far fetched as one might think. Our universe is an amazing place and who's to say this is not a possibility?

If you've read any of my books, you'll know that soul mates and reincarnation are a part of each story that I write. I didn't plan this as I wrote, but the thread is there within my characters and story lines. My first novel, No Turning Back and second novel, Whispers at Ghost Point, are about the same characters, separated by 200 years. Dana and Mitch, in Whispers, have a sense of reincarnation, but don't realize it until their psychic friend relays this information to them when ghosts torment them in the lighthouse. You can read more about this at my website for Whispers. I also have both books in print on sale for $20 for both books, a $35 value. You can purchase them from my website at the above link.
My novel, Never Surrender, is another book that also includes reincarnation and soul reconnection, though the characters don't realize it until the end of the story.  Taima and Kate connect amid turmoil that happens between them, when neither wants to befriend the other. Fate has different plans for them and they're constantly pulled back together in order for them to realize they belong with each other. Getting a second time at love is another aspect of my stories and something I also believe in. If you've lost a lover in death or divorce or an argument, sometimes we think that there is no one out there for us. This is so not true. Fate will bring you together with your soul mate when you least expect it. It may be your second soul mate in some cases, because we have more than one. Keep an open heart and know in your mind that it can happen. First, before you can love someone else, you must learn to love yourself and be comfortable that none of us are perfect. Once you love you for who you are, that opens the door for fate to know you're ready for the next step.
In the upcoming sequel to Never Surrender, my characters must dig deep inside themselves to learn how to love themselves and that they aren't perfect. They also realize that their souls have reconnected from a past live and their future is tied together in more ways than they could ever imagine. I hope you grab your copy of Never Surrender so you'll be ready for book two, Final Surrender, and follow Kate and Brandon into a future filled with happiness and less heartache.
